
If you notice a slight resemblance to the flower picture yesterday, you are paying good attention--not only is this flower in the same family (Boraginaceae), but also the same genus:
Lithospermum. This is narrowleaf stoneseed (
Lithospermum incisum). It's not particularly tall, but the flowers are often over two inches long from the corolla tube to the petals.
