This colorful flower nestled at the base of a pinyon pine is in the Mustard Family (Brassicaceae), with its flower parts in fours. It's a Chambers' Twinpod, also called Double Twinpod (
Physaria chambersii).

There are a couple ants down in the flower. I'm guessing they are looking for food and perhaps helping to pollinate it.
